Joni Rae Norris

Joni will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with everyone who knew her. She had a warm heart and a generous spirit, always ready to offer a smile, encouragement, or a helping hand.

Joni dedicated nearly 30 years to Moore Insurance Services as a Customer Service Representative, where she cared deeply for her customers and their insurance needs. Known for her professionalism and compassion, she built lasting relationships and earned the respect of all who worked with her.

Outside of work, Joni enjoyed walking, making sure to cover at least two miles each day. She loved caring for her father and cherished playing cards with him and her family. A devoted grandmother, she treasured taking her grandchildren on shopping trips and out to lunch, and she was never shy about expressing how proud she was of her sons and grandchildren. Her love for family was immense, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Joni is survived by her father, William Wilson; her brothers, William (Sandra) Wilson and David (Tania) Wilson; her sister, Linda (Ronald) Massey; her sons, Alan (Angela) Norris and Darrell (Monica) Norris; and her beloved grandchildren, Adam Norris, Abbey Norris, Pyper Norris, and Emma Norris. She is also survived by many other family members and friends, especially Penny Deforest, Colleen Crowley, Mary Jo Winter, along with her beloved cat Betty White who will continue to honor her memory and celebrate the life she lived.

There will not be a public service at this time; a private family memorial will be held with a celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date.

Joni Rae (Wilson) Norris will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved her.

Though her daily walks have ended here, Joni’s love, kindness, and gentle spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who were blessed to know her.
