June Elizabeth DeCamp was carried by Angels to meet her Lord and Savior on Wednesday May 15, 2019 at the age of 90. Preceded in death by her beloved husband and soul mate of 64 years, Max DeCamp. June was formerly a resident of Rives Junction, Mi. and a current resident of Vista Grande Villa where she enjoyed so many friendships. Born into a family of nine brothers and sisters, on May 8, 1929 in Jackson, Mi. She married her high school sweetheart Max DeCamp on February 26, 1949. Together they owned and operated DeCamp Farm Sales in Rives Junction, Mi. She leaves to cherish her precious memory, daughter Marcia (Chuck) Lysher, son Roger (Cheri) DeCamp, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, also survived by one brother, William (Barb) Naylor, numerous nieces and nephews. June was a loving and caring mom and “nana” thru five generations. Kind and gentle, full of laughs, always giving, ready to wipe a tear, share a prayer and give a hug. She taught us how to live, laugh and love and left us with amazing memories to hold forever. She carried a strong faith in the Lord and supported many missions and missionary families throughout her lifetime. A faithful member of Loomis Park Baptist Church (2301 N. Elm St Jackson) where a service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday May 21, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Rich Zawadzki officiating. Private family burial at Draper Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home and Tuesday 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Loomis Park Baptist Church.
