Kathy Ann (Miller) Genix

Kathy A Genix, our Warrior Queen, was chosen for God's Garden, Thursday March 31st, 2022 at the age of 65. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Lonnie Genix; their children Michael Miller and Melissa (Justin) Brooks; Grandchildren, Samantha Taylor, Rebecca Miller, Hunter Brooks and Nicholas Perger; Great- Grandchildren, Adalynn and Kayleigh Taylor and Alanna Clark; one sister Gladys (Richard) Gerry; and one brother Roland (Vicki) Miller; numerous nieces and nephews with special regard to Christopher; and her angel on earth Gloria LaForrest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Virginia Miller (Stiles); her sisters Sharon (John) Hawkins, Loretta (Ken) Price, Delores Miller; one brother Ricky Miller; and adored in-laws Samuel and Marilyn Genix. Kathy spent a short time in Labor and Delivery at Foote Hospital before taking the time to raise her family. She became a member of the Moose Lodge and spent many a day/night helping with dinners, dances, bake sales, and Bingo. She also devoted her time as a member of St. Joseph church and school. You could find her on Bingo nights, in the office, and on the playground. She had a soft spot for cats, and the numerous strays and rescues she took in were her passion. She was a fiercely adoring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend and we will all be lost without her love and laughter. There will be a Private Family Interment Service at Roseland Memorial Gardens.
