Kevin Wynn Debose Sr.

Of Jackson, passed away on Friday December 9, 2022 at the age of 65. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sheena; four children, Kerrie (Dan) Bliss, Kevin, Jr. (Heidi) Debose, Kristi Benn and Kraig Debose; twelve grandchildren, Lexigirl, Tyler, Rachel, Jacob, Kenzie, Nicolas “Bubby”, A.J., Kami, J.J., Rileigh, Natalie and Henry “Hank”; one great grandson, Logan; three siblings, Curt (Rose) Debose, Chris (Marie) Debose and Kelly (Mike) Beyerstedt as well as many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Kevin was born in Jackson, Michigan on January 8, 1957 to Henry and Barbara Debose. He was born with a true work ethic. He worked many jobs to support his family and was a “Jack of all trades”. He was mostly proud of being the 3rd generation of the family concrete business and to be able to pass that along to the 4th and even 5th generation. Kevin had many hobbies and enjoyed classic car clubs and sharing with other car enthusiasts. He cherished his 1969 Hurst Olds and his Drag Truck. He loved his family and had a strong Faith in the Lord. He will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held at Burden & Patience-Montgomery (1806 E. Michigan Ave. Jackson, 49202) on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. He will be laid to rest at Tompkins Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
