Of Jackson went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the age of 75. She is survived by her children, Sharon (Joseph) LaGow, Ricky Hamilton, Randy Hamilton, Michael Hamilton, Brenda (Ralph) LaFond, Nora (Phillip) Railer, Lorinda Navarre and Lucinda (Ronald) Thornsberry; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, her church family and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by Abel Hamilton; two grandsons, Phillip Ben Railer III and James Taylor Thornsberry. Laura was one of five children born to Andrew and Susie Fox in Rives Township. She was a loving mother and grandmother as well as an avid gardener. She enjoyed bingo, writing poetry and trips to the casino. A celebration honoring her life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Stanley Eastman officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 5 until 7 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery in Concord, MI. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Apostolic Tabernacle 526 Fairyland Ave. Jackson, MI. 49202
