Lauri graduated from Jackson High School in 1986. Following high school, she started her first job at Physicians’ Health Plan/Sparrow. She continued to work there for 39 years until her retirement.
Lauri enjoyed music, movies and books immensely, and couldn't wait to discuss her latest finds. In addition to spoiling her dogs, her other passions included making jewelry, lounging by the pool, or spending the day with her mother and sister at a craft show or yard sale seeing what new treasure they might find.
Lauri is survived by her mother Linda McClurg, her father Doug Omans, sister Laschell Omans, brother Kevin (Kathleen) Becker, nephew Deejay Neelis, nieces Deidra (Tim) Mohney and Lilith Becker, and many great-nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will take place 11AM-1PM Monday, January 26, 2026 at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home, 1806 E. Michigan Ave, Jackson, Michigan, 49202.
A luncheon will follow at The Michigan Center Eagles, 302 Fifth St., Michigan Center, MI, 49254.
