Lucille Webster

Of Jackson, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday February 12, 2018 at her residence in Midland, surrounded by her family and friends who loved her, age 85. She was born February 1, 1933 in Jackson to Henry and Lillian Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bernie Webster. She was an active member of Sycamore Baptist Church for many years before changing churches later in life to Lansing Ave. Baptist Church, where she fell in love with all the people there. She had many different jobs thru out the years including raising her children, which she always enjoyed spending time with. Also enjoyed reading her Bible daily, sewing, doing puzzles and watching the Detroit Tigers and Lions. Surviving are her children, Karen Gier, Lynn (Brian) Ralph, Dianne (Terry) VanWert, Ruthann (David) Hill and Roger Gier, 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson, her sister Wanda Rogers and her brother Bob (Alice) Thompson. Funeral services will be held at Lansing Ave. Baptist Church Saturday February 17, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Burial Fifield Cemetery. Visitation Friday 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home and Saturday 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church.
