Of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the age of 66. She is survived by her soulmate, Dan Hardt; daughters, Laura (Jerry) Bay and Jennifer (Terry Gauthier) Deraedt; six grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; brothers, John Wahtola, Robert Wahtola and Tom O’Conner as well as many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nedra Remillard and brother, Russell E. Wahtola. Marsha was born in Calumet, Michigan on July 24, 1953 to John and Julia (Harju) Wahtola. She attended Jackson Public Schools and work in local retail. She was an avid Detroit Tiger and Redwing fan. She was also a NASCAR fan. She was fond of camping at the racetrack and spending time with family and friends. She touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed, per her wishes cremation has taken place. A service to honor her life will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the time of service.
