Mary Ann Konopka

Mary Ann Konopka age 86, passed away on February 26, 2026, in Jackson, Michigan. She was born in Jackson, Michigan, January 26, 1940 to Steven and Marjorie Kurkuris. Mary is survived by her children, Julie Ringe, Michael (Leslie) Goodell and Marjorie Goodell; grandchildren Michael D. Kelly, Austin J. (Kaite) Goodell, Travis (Kayla) Goodell, Jordan (Nicole) Goodell, Dillon (Allison) Goodell, Nicholas R. Ringe, and Kortney (Michael) Dixon; great grandchildren Braylon Losey, Violet Goodell, Vincent Goodell, Gabriel Goodell, Rylee Ringe, Tyson Ringe, Roxana Irvine, Mason Dixon and Alaina Dixon. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Anthony Konopka and her brother Nicholas Kurkuris.

Mary was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked for many years as a waitress, at several different Jackson restaurants. She also loved to cook, and was known for her cooking. She took pride in her home and her yard and loved sharing her gifts with her family. She dedicated her life to the care of her youngest daughter.

A private burial for family will take place Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
