Mary Jean Lampart

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on April 23, 2011 at the age of 85. Mary Jean was born on November 29, 1925 to parents John and Elva Dodds. She married Ellis W. Lampart in 1946. Mary Jean was a seamstress for many years and was a member of Park Forest Community Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, spending time with her grandchildren and visiting with the ladies. She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Ruby, Ruth, Harry, Lila, and Johnny. She is survived by her stepson Ken (Mary) Lampart; daughter Rose Ann (Mike) Hudson, son Ellis (Nelva) Lampart, and daughter Lois (Jerry) Stassines; as well as eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 29 at 2 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Pisney officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 28 from 4 – 8 P.M. and Friday, April 29 from 12:00 P. M. until time of service. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park next to her husband, Ellis.
