

Of Jackson, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the age of 66. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years, Maggie Babineau; brothers, Larry, Charles, and Kevin. He leaves to cherish his memory, two children, Melinda (Adam) Kohn and Michael A. Babineau; two grandchildren, Oskar and Griffon; brother, Bruce (Linda), as well as sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, loving family members, and a host of friends. Michael was born to Robert and June (McAdams) Babineau in Jackson on November 27, 1950. After graduating from Jackson High he served in the United States Army. He returned to Jackson, married Maggie and they raised a family. Mr. Babineau retired from ITT Hancock after over 30 years of service. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid fisherman. He was a loving father, proud grandfather, and was always willing to help others when he was able. He had a strong Faith in the Lord and was an active member of Central Wesleyan Church (119 N. Webster Street Jackson, 49201) where a celebration of his life will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Church.
