Michael A. Norris

Of Jackson, went to be with God on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the age of 58. He is survived by his loving wife, Kellie (Kulhawik) Norris; two sons, Michael (Alicia) Norris and Christopher (Danielle) Norris; six grandchildren, Kaylynn, Devin, Darrell, Christopher II, Xavier and Leigha; brothers, Ray (Dee) Norris and Charles (Bev) Houck; brother, Mark (Robin) Kulhawik; sisters, Kathy (David) Nebelung, Karen Kulhawik and Theresa Allen; as well as many nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Martha Norris; brothers, Lawrence Norris and Claude Norris, Jr.; sister, Linda Chaflin; and mother and father-in-law, Larry and Barbara Eckstrom. Mike was born in Jackson on December 15, 1956. He graduated from Jackson High in 1975. He was a car enthusiast, enjoyed the outdoors, and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Michael was the center of his wife Kellie's universe. He was an outgoing, caring, understanding, and wonderful man. Mike was truly a selfless man; he loved others unconditionally and he never met a stranger. He has many friends everywhere. He was a hero to both of his sons, a champion to his grandchildren, and he will be sadly missed but never forgotten. May he rest peacefully in Heaven and may God bless him. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a service honoring him will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive friends for visitation at 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cascades Humane Society.
