

Of, Michigan Center, passed away peacefully among his family on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the age of 80. He is survived by wife of 58 years Marilyn (Nash) Tuttle; children, Matthew (Dawn) Tuttle, Monica (Corey) Shelton, and Mitchell Tuttle; grandchildren, Ashley Tuttle, Jacob (Amanda) Tuttle, Jordan Tuttle, Autumn St. John-Bray, Logan Shelton, and Rory Shelton; great-grandchildren Ashton, Noah, Maddox and Levi; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Dennis, Dale, and Dallas Tuttle and sister, Nancy Toman. Morris was born to Ralph and Alice (Barnhart) Tuttle in North Adams, Michigan on July 20, 1936 and is a graduate of North Adams High School. Morris served in the US Army for four years; retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Morris also worked for AraMark at Jackson College. Morris and his wife Marilyn were also Foster Parents to 45 children over nine years. Morris enjoyed sharing his creative ideas with others and was a friend to all. He loved making crafts and artwork to give to church and community members. Morris had a love for the Lord Jesus Christ and was member of Pathway Community Church for 30 years (5225 Clinton Road Jackson, 49201), where a celebration of his life will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 12:00 noon with Reverend Todd W. Frederick officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. and again on Monday at the Church one hour prior to the service. Mr. Tuttle will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideon’s or to Pathway Community Church.
