Pat Mast

Pat Mast, age 81, of Pleasant Lake, Michigan peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Pat was born December 25, 1940 (Best Christmas Present EVER!) to William and Geraldine Worsham. She was a graduate of Jackson High School in 1959 and earned her Associates Degree of Business from Jackson Community College in 1985. Pat retired from Consumers Energy after 34 years of service which included her membership in the CMS Women's Club, President of the Toast Masters International and was a member in good standing of the Jacksonians Club. In retirement Pat was very active in the community including being the President of the Clearwater Association of Michigan Center for 5 years. Pat met the love of her life, Jack, on a blind date set up by her daughter Stacy. Who knew she'd meet her Prince Charming at a Allskate Funcenter? Pat & Jack, married for 34 years, loved to do everything together, golf, ski, dance and rollerskate. They had many adventures together including trips to Hawaii, Mexico, Arizona, Texas, California, Florida and all throughout Michigan. Pat, with her competitive spirit, achieved the Holy Grail of Golf with her first hole in one at age 50! Pat had friendships spanning more than 50 years. She continued to enjoy her friendships through golfing, traveling to numerous plays, musicals and concerts and met regularly for breakfast, lunch dates and monthly games of Dominoes. Pat created many happy memories with her children and grandchildren. Favorite times included traveling together and spending many sunny afternoons at the "Lake House". We will miss our Wife, our Mom, our Grandmother, she was truly one of a kind..... The Queen Bee! She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill & Gerry Worsham and her brother, Ron Worsham, local artist. Pat will be missed by her beloved husband, Jack Mast; daughters, Kelly (Dan) Henderson of Lincoln, California, Stacy (Dan) Murray, Kathy Schafer, and son, Brian (Melanie) Mast; grandchildren, Ryan Wooten, Austin Henderson, Keith (Bethany) Henderson, Katelyn (Sean) Wolfe, Hunter Ferris, Paris Mast, Briley (Aidan) Klug, Devlin Murray, & Robbie Schafer.
