Patricia A. Alexander

Patricia Ann Alexander passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the age of 89. Patricia was a resident of Jackson, Michigan. She was born September 15, 1936 to Theodore C. and Eva May (Murphy) Bender in Shelby, Michigan. Patricia was survived by daughters Rayniece Prather, Jacqueline Hunter, and Marla Mock-Zentgraf; special granddaughter Heather Alexander-McGuire; grandchildren, Brandee, Alexander, Antreal, Marshall (JR), Nikki; several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers. Patricia loved to sew, she made everyone's clothes back in the day, sometimes that was good sometimes not so great. She crocheted blankets, making sure all the kids received one, creating keepsakes that carried warmth, care, and lasting meaning. In the kitchen, her Thanksgiving macaroni and cheese was a cherished tradition, the recipe has been handed down throughout the generations. She was also known for riding her handicap scooter all over town, a familiar sight that reflected her independent spirit and determination. Patricia will be missed by all those who knew her.
