Patricia Ann Atwood

Of Jackson, Michigan quietly transitioned from this life into the arms of her Savior on August 4, 2025, at the age of 90. Patricia was born in Highland Park, Michigan on January 7, 1935 to parents Frederick and Isma Clinton. She was a waitress for over 40 years. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also loved to attend church and bible study. Patricia enjoyed watching the deer and cardinals in her backyard and truly enjoyed nature. She also enjoyed garage sales and flea marketing. Spending time with family and friends was her favorite hobby. Patricia is survived by her children Pamela (Adam) Cornell, Ronald (Linda) Everett, Mindy Everett, Donald Thomas (Carol) Atwood, and Sherrie (Brian) Douglas; grandchildren Donald (Laura) Atwood II, Lyle (Nikki) Sligh, Thomas (Alisha) Sligh, Tyler Terrell, and Dusty (Elissa) Atwood; and 23 great-grandchildren; sister Kathy. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Gene Atwood; daughter, Trisha; brother Fred Clinton; sister Donna Haggerty. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place with a celebration of Patricia's life to be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Cascade Fellowship Church (2390 West High Street, Jackson, Michigan) with Pastor Chris Lanham and Pastor Thomas Sligh officiating. Family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM until time of service. Patricia will be laid to rest next to beloved husband Gene at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Munith Michigan.
