Of Jackson, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, May 4, 2014, at the age of 67. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sheila Garred; three children: Paul (Lori) Garred Jr., Stacey Herman, and Patty (Mark) McGauley; four grandchildren: Kyle, Justin, Kristin, and Jake; one great grandson, Sawyer; father, Arnold Garred Jr.; siblings: Bev Bailey, Richard (Connie) Garred, Larry (Sue) Garred, Nancy Young, and Mark (Linda) Garred; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Garred and brother in-law, Doug Young. Paul was born in Jackson and attended Jackson Public Schools. After school he was employed with Clark Equipment and resided in Jackson where he and Sheila raised their family. He retired from Legends. Paul was a proud, hardworking, family man. He was kind-hearted and enjoyed life. He touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed. According to his wishes, cremation has been chosen and there will be no services at this time.
