Paul Rose

It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Rose announces the he went to be with the Lord after a brief illness on March 10, 2013, age 66. Paul was born March 30, 1946 and lived in Jackson all of his life. He worked at Allegiance Health for 30 years in the surgery Department and only retired a few years prior to his passing. He loved to fish, boxing, sports and collected antiques. He was an amateur boxer and loved to teach it. His most precious gift in life were his two sons, Parker and Trevor. He was a wonderful, loving and devoted father and enjoyed every moment with his sons, that was his priority in his life. He has a special niece, Bonny Dixon whom he spent a lot of time with and loved her dearly. He is survived by his sons, Parker Paul and Trevor Michael Rose; special niece, Bonny (Cory) Dixon; loving sister, Marguerite Lige and brother, Jim (Shirley) Rose; nephews, Eugene (Debbie), Larry and Tommy (Sue) Lige; niece, Cindy (Matt) Hughes and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Elba and Hazel Rose and other family members. He was always Loved and never forgotten. A celebration of his life will be held at the funeral home Friday March 15, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. Cremation will follow services. Visitation Thursday 6-8 P.M.
