She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice Foster, and her son, Ross Jones. Pearly leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children, Ted "Dutchy" Jones and Tracy (Ross) Jones; her grandchildren, Rayfield Foster, Brian Jones, Carmen Foster, Tonia Jones, Anthony Jones, and Patrice Jones; 11 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and her goddaughters, Sabrina and Teresa Brown of Lansing, Michigan.
Affectionately known as "Ms. Pearl" by a group of World Changers students, Pearly was a devoted woman of God who freely shared her wisdom, kindness, and love with all who knew her. She found great joy in cooking for her family, especially on Sundays and during the holidays, when her home was filled was filled with warmth, laughter, and togetherness.
One of her favorite pastimes was visiting, traveling, and shopping with her beloved cousins, Mack and Virginia McCann, who spoiled her endlessly with love and affection. Family and friends fondly remember the neighborhood social gatherings where lifelong friendships were formed and nurtured over many decades - especially the cherished bonds between Pearly, Mrs. Clemmie Barber, Mrs. Louise Goodall, and her sister-in-law, Lilah Milton.
Our family is deeply grateful and truly blessed to have witnessed the tender love and professional care provided over the past three years by the exceptional staff at Kresge Retirement Center. For this, we extend our heartfelt thanks.
