Robert "Bobby" Lee Hall Sr.

Robert “Bobby” Hall Sr. was born September 16, 1939 to the late Benjamin and Lula Hall Sr. in Jackson, Michigan. He departed this life at his home in Jackson, Michigan on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the age of 78.

Robert Hall Sr., affectionately known as “Bobby”, was preceded in death by his wife, Martha “JoAnn” Hall; step-daughter, Ramona Grubbs; step-son, Donnie Grubbs; his parents; four brothers: Benjamin “Sonny” Hall Jr., Leonard Hall, Billy Hall, Nehemiah “Nemi” Hall; five sisters: Norma Jean Hall, Mattie “Duit” Hall, Tabitha “Bike” Austin, Mary Priddy, Naomi “Sugar” Langford, and a great grandson, Esham Dupree Gant.

Bobby is survived by two sons: Bobby (Lori) Hall Jr. and Jeremy (DeeDee) Hall; five daughters: Bobbinett (Edward) Westbrook, Ronita (Clarence) Morrow, Kim McPherson, Robin (Marlon) Reese, Andrea Hall; two step-sons: Ricky Grubbs and Darryl (Nita) Grubbs. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a special friend, James “Grumpy” Turner. Bobby had a gift of brightening up people’s days and making them laugh. He will be sorely missed by all of his family and friends who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Oasis of Love Full Gospel Church located at 800 S. Cooper St., Jackson, MI with family hour from 12:30 PM until time of service.
