With deep sorrow and hope in Christ, we announce the passing of our beloved Ronnie Moyers, who went home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2025, at the age of 74.
Ronnie was born in Cape Girardeau to Charles and Dorothy Moyers, the fourth child of seven children. He lived a life marked by faith, love, and devotion. A man of quiet strength and steady faith, he was a steadfast follower of Jesus Christ who let His light shine through a life of humility, kindness, and service; at Mt. Auburn Christian Church, Walker Christian church, where he served as an elder, and Cornerstone Christian Church. He was a hard-working and dependable provider, known for his unwavering dedication to his family and those around him. He worked as a baker at bunny bread and for many years was a machine operator at Nordenia. He was proud of his service in the army where he was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam era. He married his wife of 31 years, Pamela Moyers, on July 3, 1990.
Ronnie found peace and joy in the outdoors; he loved to hop on his tractor, work in his garden, and go golfing. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs. He is survived by his wife Pam and his four daughters. Alicia Morris and her children Alexis French and Hazel Kivett; Sarah Robertson and husband Devin Robertson and their children Kaydence, Reggie, Reyna; Stephanie Elmer and husband Skyler Elmer and their children Augustine, Titus, and Judah; Amanda Bachand and husband Josh Bachand and their son Elias Bachand; and his brothers David and Jimmy Moyers. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Buford Moyers, Charles (Scotty) Moyers, Elaine Figliolo, and Sharron Davis. Above all, he was a loving husband, proud dad, and a deeply devoted “Pawpaw” to his grandkids, who adored him. His family was his greatest joy, and his legacy of love, integrity, and faith will live on in them.
A celebration of Ronnie's life will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone Christian Church (2395 West High Street, Jackson, MI 49203) with Devin Robertson officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Ronnie will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone Christian Church at 2395 W. High Street in Jackson, Michigan.
