Ruth Ann Ridge

Age 85, passed away peacefully after a short stay at Henry Ford Health Hospice Home, on Saturday March 4, 2023. Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Donald Ridge D.D.S. She was a loving mother and grandmother to Kathy (Ed) Keesler, Karen Gutekunst, Laurie Gutekunst and Thomas Gutekunst; grandchildren, Gordon Keesler, Joel Keesler, Christi (Chris) Walker, Meghan Horodecki, Erick Horodecki, and Nicholas Bolgos; and great grandson, Callan Walker. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Ruth Ann was born April 29, 1937 to Arthur and Florence Erickson in Stambaugh, MI, and was quite proud of her Scandinavian heritage. Ruth Ann enjoyed gardening, baking, traveling, shopping and card nights with her dear friends. She loved getting the family together for holidays. Ruth Ann was gifted with a beautiful voice and was active in her church choirs and was a proud member of Jackson Tuesday Musicale. Services will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave. Jackson) with visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M. Donations would be kindly appreciated to Jackson Tuesday Musicale.
