Shirley Ann Norris passed away on December 2, 2010 at U of M Medical Center. Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Mattie Arnold; and her husband, Elmer Norris. She is survived by her six children, Aaron (Cathy) Norris, Natalie (Lloyd) Bridges, Vanessa Norris, Bridgette Norris, Eric Norris and Terry (Debra) Norris; three sisters, Robbie Griffin, Dorothy Smith and Raymell (Sherman) Smith.; two brothers, William Arnold and Charles (Olympthy) Arnold; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Shirley retired after 30 years from the Jackson County Medical Care Facility. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 with the family hour at 11:00 a.m. and Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 p.m. at Faith Temple Word of Faith Ministries, 1020 North Blackstone, Jackson, Michigan 49201 with Pastor Ronald C. Joplin officiating. Burial Woodland Cemetery.
