Of Jackson, passed away on January 9, 2020 at the age of 89. Thomas was born on June 18, 1930 in Jackson, MI. Thomas married Joyce Ann on January 7, 1950 in Angola, IN. He worked for Walker Manufacturing, retiring after 40 years of service. He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. Thomas is survived by his three children: Terry Valentine of Jackson; Dennis Valentine of Frankfort, MI; and Sherry (Bill) Carey of Cape Coral, FL; five grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Elsie) Valentine of Jackson; and niece, Trudy Davey of Jackson. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann (March of 2019). Per his wishes, cremation has been chosen with no services planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sycamore Baptist Church.
