

Of Napoleon, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the age of 82. He leaves to cherish his memory, beloved wife of 61 years, Sally (Sauter) Beasley; three sons, Michael (Lisa), Steven (Kim), and Jeffrey (Lucy) Beasley; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; siblings, Vernon Beasley, Robert (Elaine) Beasley, Mary Virginia (John) Adams, and Elwanda (Don) Fuqua; as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Kary Beasley and siblings, James, Edford, AD, JC, and Roberta. Tommie was born in Ballard County, Kentucky and came to Jackson at 16 years old to find work. He married Sally and they proudly raised their family. Tommie enrolled in the Napoleon Adult Education program and received his diploma in 1977, the same year his son, Steven graduated. Tommie was a hardworking family man. He retired from Kelsey-Hayes after 44 years of service. He was also a member of Jackson Masonic Lodge #17 and Cement City Lodge # 435. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. A service honoring his life will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Butterfield officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a Masonic Memorial Service held at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Beasley will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorial contribution may be made to Grass Lake Baptist Church.
