Of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the age of 56. He was preceded in death by his parents and will be remembered by his siblings; twin sister, Venus V. Peterson, brothers, Charles, Glenn, and Harold, and sister, Carol Peterson; eight nieces and nephews and twenty great-nieces and nephews. Vern was born in Albion to Richard and Violet (Springett) Peterson on January 16, 1960. After graduating high school Vern served in the United States Army. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends for a memorial visitation at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m.
