Willie B. Coleman of Jackson, Michigan passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 80. He was born in Leflore, Mississippi on October 29, 1945, to his parents, Will and Sara Coleman. Willie married Ella Mae Coleman on August 13, 1967, in Wichita, Kansas.
Willie worked for Jackson Precision Industries and retired after 20 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports, and spending time with family and friends. His favorite pastime was telling stories to make you laugh, and he was known for his great sense of humor.
Willie is survived by his children, Tammy L, Dionne Rey, and Cedrick Coleman; grandchildren, Sebian and Zion Coleman, Carmelia and Juvell Graham, Michael Jones, and Antwain Johnson; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Per his wishes cremation as taken place, He will be laid to rest with his beloved wife at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
A Family Hour will be held at Burden-Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home, 1806 East Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI 49202, on March 6, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Home Going Service will follow at Burden-Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home on Friday, March 6, 2026, beginning at 12:00 pm.
