

Angeleen was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 17, 1976. Determined to start a career, she left high school early to pursue her GED. Shortly thereafter, she began her college education and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Valencia College.
Angeleen began her nursing career soon after and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. While working in nursing throughout the Jacksonville area, Angeleen continued her education. While still working, Angeleen graduated from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and became a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She completed her career at the Mayo Clinic.
Angeleen loved the beach and was an avid cruiser. She loved nothing more than relaxing on her balcony and watching the crystal-blue waters pass by.
Angeleen is survived by her husband, Josh; her son, Robert; stepsons, Cole and James; her brother, William (Erica); sisters, Candy (David) and Ruth-Ann; and her mother-in-law, Virginia. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she adored.
Angeleen was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rebecca Hilker; her brother, Chris; and her father-in-law, James.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250, on March 18, 2026 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. A service will be held at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250, on March 18, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Community Hospice and Palliative Care in Angeleen's name.
