She grew up in Cayce, SC and graduated from Airport High School. She attended Clemson University, where she met her husband, Fritz, and they were married in 1976. She retired in 2021 from Florida State College at Jacksonville as Director of Campus Operations.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Fritz, daughter Lindsey (Mike) Thomas and grandchildren Brady and Callie. She is also survived by sisters Eleanor (Rhett) Siedschlag and Jacque (Andy) Wenger, brother Jay (Cindy) Zeigler, along with many extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, January 12 at 10:00am

Cathy was well known to be generous and kind, a great mentor, and a trusted friend. She was a wonderful wife, mother and nana, a favorite sister and aunt, and was loved by many. She will be dearly missed.
