Danny K. Clark, 65, passed away December 31, 2012. Born in Huntington WV, he was a Jacksonville resident for more than 25 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam-era as an elite member of The Old Guard stationed at Arlington National Cemetery. Mr. Clark retired from CSX after 41 years of dedicated service and attended Isle of Faith Methodist Church.
He was a sports enthusiast and avid golfer. Preceded in death by his father, Edward, he is survived by his mother, Anna Lee Clark; wife of 42 years, Cathie Clark; son, Sean M. Clark (Carrie); daughter, Ashley J. Shoby (Timothy); brother and sister, Randy Clark & Teresa Bailey of Huntington, WV; and his four granddaughters, who were the love of his life, Jordan, Bernice, Adeline, and Kennedy.
A celebration of Danny’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5th, in the Chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jax Bch, FL. For those who prefer, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
