David Ewig Casebeer, 83, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away January 16, 2024. He was born in Chicago, IL on December 30, 1940. David graduated from Crystal Lake High School in Crystal Lake, IL and received his bachelor’s in Business Administration from Michigan State.
He married Nina Frances Aspinwall Casebeer on January 18, 1969. David had a career as the Credit Manager at Charter Oil Company and last worked for British Airways Customer Service in Jacksonville, FL. He had a passion for swimming in his backyard pool, rarely missing a day, rain or shine.
In addition to his wife, Nina, he is survived by his sons, Glen Casebeer (wife, Shannon) and Chris Casebeer (wife, Cynthia); grandchildren, Matthew and Simon Casebeer; step-grandson, Quillan Shafer; and nephew Philip Lefavour (wife, Penny). Cousin Paul Ewig (wife, Noreen). His sister, Glenda Lefavour, preceded him in death. A service to celebrate the life of David Casebeer will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, January 26, 2024, at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL.
