Dennis J. Harnisch

Dennis was born in Buffalo, NY on February 4, 1945. He graduated from Canisius High School and then graduated from Canisius College. Dennis married Nailya (Nelly) Harnisch on March 06, 2004. Mr. Harnisch has been employed for 22 years with the City of Jacksonville, Property Appraiser's Office.

He was a proud member of the US National Rifle Association and the American Legion and had a passion for God, family, firearms, gardening and motorcycles.

Dennis will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a patient and loving son, husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived in legacy by his wife Nelly; children, Christopher (Holly) Harnisch, Jeremy (Katie) Harnisch, Timothy Harnisch, Benjamin Harnisch, Juliette Wooten and Vladislav Nasyrov; grandchildren, Hayley, Olivia, Ava, Dylan, Jacob, Jonathan, Joseph, Jeffrey, Alexandria, and Sidney; and siblings, Marion Walker, Florence Hirsch, Joy Dickinson, Irene Masci and Linda Arrants. Dennis will be dearly missed and is forever in our hearts.

A service to Celebrate Dennis’ life will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 27th in the Chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL. he will be interred with Air Force honors, in the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
