TAULBEE- Denver “Doug” M. Taulbee, 78, went home on March 7, 2011. A resident of Jacksonville since 1969, he worked at Anheuser-Busch for 15 years until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of San Pablo Family Church. Mr. Taulbee served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War as a medic. He was a master mason at the William B. Barnett Lodge # 187, F & AM, and a member of the Scottish Rite of Jacksonville, and as 32nd Degree Mason. Mr. Taulbee was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Cheryle (Cain) Taulbee; daughter, Karen Taulbee (Stephen Fant); son, John Taulbee (Donna); brother, Glenn Kennard; sister, Margaret Myers, both of Middletown, Ohio; a granddaughter, Sheryl; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved two dachshunds, Duchess and Cindy Lou.
