

Frank Dickinson passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024, in Jacksonville, FL at the age of 87. Born on December 11, 1936, Frank was a man known for his engaging personality, sense of humor, and a fun-loving spirit that endeared him to many.
Frank graduated from Fletcher High School and furthered his education at Emory University. He proudly served in the US Navy, dedicating years of service to his country with honor and pride. Frank's commitment to excellence continued into his civilian life where he became a prominent business owner, notably of Shuckers Beach Club, a beloved local establishment.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Frank had a passionate involvement in various community activities. He was an active member of several antique car clubs and took great joy in restoring antique cars. Frank was a 2020 Jax Beaches Legend Honoree. His dedication to community was further demonstrated through his active participation in the Rotary Club.
Frank was a cherished figure not only in his community but also within his large and loving family. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Dickinson; daughters Christy Waldenmaier (Craig), Loraine Smith (Marc); son Bradley Dickinson (Phuong); stepchildren Crystal Stewart (Jon), Tom Wallace (Leann), Kyle Wallace (Crystal), and Roy Lee Wallace (Ann); fourteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He also leaves behind brothers Maxwell Dickinson (Edna) and Walter Dickinson (Helen). Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Helen Dickinson, and his sister, Petra Dickinson.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Sept. 21, from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM, at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jax Beach, Florida 32250.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Clyde E. Lassen Veterans Nursing Home, 4650 State Rd 16, St Augustine, FL 32092, on behalf of Frank Dickinson. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched with his generosity and spirit.
