Hazel Lewis Rumbley

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Andrew Rumbley, Sr., her parents Neal and Edith Lewis, one sister and four brothers. She was born on August 5, 1925 in Indian Springs, North Carolina.

Surviving are her son Roy Andrew “Drew” Rumbley Jr. and wife Nancy of Troy, Virginia and a daughter Margaret Rumbley Wolson and husband William of St. Augustine, Florida. Also surviving are grandchildren Laura Rumbley Jones and husband Scott of Charlottesville, VA , Sara Rumbley Hayes and husband Joel of Staunton, VA, Andrew Myers Rumbley of Richmond, VA. Erika Wolson Carpenter and husband Erik of St. Augustine, Fl. William Andrew Wolson of St. Augustine Fl, and three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Rumbley resided in Greenville, NC for more than forty years being a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for that time period. She retired from Morgan Printers Inc. before moving to Jacksonville in 2000.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenville or Riverside Presbyterian House in Jacksonville.

A memorial service may be scheduled at a later date.
