Aunt Betty, Diane and Amy, I'm so sorry to hear of Bert's passing.  Dad always told me how hard he was fighting his cancer and never got discouraged.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of his family during the difficult time of loss.  Love and Hugs to you.

While we never met Bert in person, we knew he brought happiness and joy to all of you. We are praying for peace, comfort and strength in the days ahead for your family and Bert's family.

Bert added so much joy to Diane,Amy and Aunt Betty's life in Jacksonville.  It was reassuring  to all the family  knowing  that he was there with them.  Bert will be sorely missed.He fought a long and hard battle to stay near but now he can rest in peace in a better place.Knowing that he is no longer in pain, will be comfort enough.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Bert for the past five years.  He always came to work with a smile on his face and even during all those treatments, he would say, "I'm doing pretty good".  He will be missed by all of us, his co workers, at The Bolles School.  So glad his suffering is over and he is at peace now.

Diane, I never met Bert, but know that you spoke well of him, so he must have been a good man.  May God comfort you and the family during this difficult time.  I know that you understand he is at peace.  Keeping you in my prayers.

I only had the opportunity to meet Bert on a couple of occasions but that didn't mean I didn't know much about him. My mom was always keeping me up on all the things Diane and Bert were up to for the previous week and how Bert would come pick her up when she needed a ride to the doctor. I always felt a kind of calming feeling in knowing he was there looking out  for Diane, and anyone else that needed him.  He was just that kind of guy. 
He will be missed by all.

Bert, I will remember your love of traveling, the ritual of eating out  every Saturday and Sunday for breakfast with Diane, and always enjoying candles at your evening meals.  As a gentleman, you never failed to open the vehicle door for Diane.  You and I got along great for all 21 years. And, for five years and through hundreds of hours of medical appointments, Diane provided the best loving care possible 24/7.  Bert you fought so hard for so long and are now with the angles in heaven.

We are so sorry to hear about the death of Bert.  Hold on to all the great and loving memories.  Our deepest sympathies to you and your family.  With caring thoughts and prayers...

Hubert was the dearst & sweetes brother anyone could ever have.  We have been very close through the years. He was always happy even as a child & always loving & kind to everyone. I'll always treasure his memory & the times we had together.  No one could ever take his place in my life.  He was a wonderful son to our Mother always coming to see her on his vacation for years, he loved her without reservation for as long as she lived which was 94 years.  I'm so grapeful that he is now in Haven Rejoicing with Mom & Daddy & all our loved ones who have gone on before. I'll look forward to seeing him once again in Haven some day.  Thank you my dear precious brother for all the love you have given me through our life time.  I'm so proud of you & know you know how much I love you & will keep you close in my heart for as long as I shall live. Good by my precious brother & friend till we meet again.
