Irma T Blanton

Irma was a resident of Jacksonville Beach for over 50 years. She had a love of gardening and was a life time member of the Ribault Garden Club. She was a floral arranger for 35 years, was an avid seamstress, and a great cook.

Irma is survived by her sister Alma Huff, her brother Lewis (Eloise) Taylor, her son William Homer (Sandra) Blanton, her granddaughter Angela Borasky, as well as nine other grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harry Blanton, her daughter Sandra Blanton, her sons Sidney Blanton and Carl Blanton; her brothers Milton (Frances), Willard (Ovena), and Paul (Evelyn) Taylor, and her sister Marsh (Dennis) Smart Daffron.

The family will receive friends Friday March 18, from 4 to 6 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach.

Services will be Saturday March 19 at Oak Hill Church in Alma, GA at 2PM.
