Jack was a retired Navy Radar Man and Fleet Reservist and also served with the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was actively involved in the United Methodist Church and the Neptune Beach Senior Center. He was a kind, wonderful man with a sweet smile; he was loved by everyone who met him. There was a twinkle in his eyes always.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Kathy Bowers Jones; daughter, Susie Murray (Rich); son, Eugene Jones (Gale); daughter, Ann Payne (Jerry); step-children Vincent Bowers (Liz), Jeff Bowers, Mark Bowers (Laurie), Tracy Pritchett (Mark), 16 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will take place from 3 to 5pm on September 27th, at the Neptune Beach Senior Activity Center at 2004 Forest Avenue, Neptune Beach Florida.
