Janet enjoyed spending time with her family and was fiercely loyal to those she loved. Like her mother before her, she was the glue that kept family and friends in touch and together in love. She always took the time to make sure distant relatives were just as close as immediate family.
Her life-long girlfriends were her favorite companions, and she loved being with them, playing cards, bingo, and laughing into the night. She was a lover of swimming, going to the beach, and cheering for the Jaguars from the stands. Shopping from thrift stores was her favorite pastime, and in her giving, loving way, she often gifted her findings to others.
Janet was an especially caring woman. She loved life to the fullest, and no matter what was happening, she would always say, "It’s all good". That was her motto. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. Janet never met a stranger, making those she just met feel warm, welcomed, and included. She was one of a kind.
Janet is survived by her sons John Heying and Joseph Heying, by her daughters Jamie Pierotti, Jennifer Palmer, and Kristin Scheurer, by her grandchildren Jordan, Jared, Journey, Jacob, Amelia, Abigail, Ava, Ella and Emma, and by her great grandchildren Kallie and Jacob.
