John Joseph McKittrick

John was a Petty Officer 1st class Bowswain’s mate for 22 years and retired in 1999 and lived in Florida for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda, his children Grace Briggs, Christina McKittrick, Justin McKittrick (Amanda), Shawn Wroble, Robert O’Keefe, his sister Sharon Smith (Bill) in Yardley, PA, brother Kevin McKittrick (Mel) in Monmouth, NJ, and brother Patrick McKittrick in Manahawkin, NJ, 22 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He now joins his parents Francis and Mary Louise McKittrick; brothers Frank, Edward, Michael, and Thomas, and his sisters Margaret and Ann in heaven.

A visitation will be held at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, located at 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250, on December 22, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service is scheduled for December 23, 2025, at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2400 Mayport Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32233, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

The committal service with military honors will take place on December 23, 2025, at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
