Kevin Gregory Neal fought a heroic fight with cancer and related conditions over the past 5 years. He passed away October 11, 2021 at the age of 40. He was born on March 20, 1981 in Snellville Georgia.
Kevin attended The Bolles School in Jacksonville Florida and graduated Brookwood high school in the Atlanta area. He received his BS degree from Georgia Tech. Kevin was also a very proud, loyal and active member of Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji) where he developed lasting friendships with world class brothers! He remained an ardent supporter of Tech, including their football program. He ensured the Yellow Jackets won the last game he watched, October 9, 2021, 31 – 27 over Duke. Kevin also attended the Westminster college in Oxford England.
He traveled throughout the country with his career in medical device. This included a Regional director position with Stryker and after several promotions he ended his career with a Stryker subsidiary as an Director of National Contracting.
He loved life and packed much into his healthy 35 years. This included several trips throughout Europe, the Caribbean and South America. He loved boating, skiing in Vail Colorado, college and pro football games, attended several Super Bowls, The Masters, The British Open, PGA and US Opens and other professional golf tournaments. His favorite course was probably Pebble Beach in California.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Brenda Addis, and father, Greg Neal and step-mother, Darla Neal. He is also survived by his older brother, Ryan Neal in Atlanta GA., brother Sean Neal in San Destin FL. and sister Suzanna Neal in Manhattan NY. Kevin will be truly missed by his family and friends. His extended family also includes his brothers from his Georgia Tech fraternity, Fiji, who he loved dearly and “talked to in his sleep” up until the very end.
We will miss Kevin’s take charge attitude and determination to take on any obstacle (especially his illness). We will miss Kevin more than words can say and we cannot imagine this world without him. We are grateful for an abundance of memories he leaves us all. We take comfort in knowing his grandmothers, Josephine Neal and Joyce Turnbeaugh along with his uncle, Daniel Neal, will welcome him with open arms in heaven.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hardage-giddensbeacheschapel.com for the Neal family.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME In Jacksonville Beach FL.
