

She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 1, 1928 to Alice and Benjamin Woolley. She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband of 27 years, Clarence Leo McCrone, Jr., her two sons, Michael Wayne and Jeffrey Clay McCrone, and two sisters, Eleanor Blenus and Florine Rollins.
She is survived by her three children, Michele Lee Barranco (Joseph) of Tallahassee, Denise Dee Keane of Jacksonville, and Thomas Patrick McCrone (Dana) of Fernandina Beach, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren, in addition to numerous extended family and friends.
Louise was born in Springfield, attended Brentwood Elementary, Kirby Smith Junior High and Andrew Jackson High School; where she met her husband, “Stuffy”. The family lived in several different states as well as Germany and Canada while her husband served as a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army.
Louise received an AS degree in Nursing from FCCJ and worked at Baptist Hospital NICU and St. Vincent’s OR before working as a staff nurse for Dr. Kenneth Horn. She later received her BS degree in Health Care Administration from St. Joseph's College in Maine.
She loved real estate and antiques, holding a Broker’s license and owner of Treasure Trove Antiques at Jacksonville Beach and in Highlands and Cashiers, North Carolina.
Louise was predeceased by her second husband of 25 years, Marvin Lee Wicker. Their homes were in Jacksonville Beach and in Orange Park. They treasured their friends at Grace Episcopal Church.
Louise felt so blessed to have her children and grandchildren nearby.
The family always included at least one pet dog.
