Luke Jerome Lavely

Luke Jerome Lavely, 61, passed away on August 28, 2013 in Jacksonville, Florida. Luke was born on September 13, 1951 in St. Clair, Michigan, to his parents, William J. Lavely and Dorothy M. Deshyver Lavely.

A free spirit, Luke was a talented poet and painter. He enjoyed the outdoors and the Beach. Luke also loved being with his family and especially loved spending time with children. He was a longtime member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.

Luke is predeceased by his father, William J Lavely; mother, Dorothy M DeShyver and nephews William & Damon. He is survived by his fiancé, Karen Sullivan; sisters Mary Lou,Mary Ellen, Mary Frances & Mary Elizabeth; brothers James , Joseph & William; nieces Allison, Kristine, Jennifer, Cheryl, Elizabeth, Laura & Victoria; nephews Michael, Jason, Morgan, Thomas James, Joseph, John Paul, Zachary & William; great-nieces Meagan, Sarah, Mackenzie, Jenna, Cameryn, Shiloh & Isabella; and great-nephews Bryce, Joseph, Ryan, Ryan, Caleb, Noah, Daniel, Joseph, Kane, Ethan & Luke.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on September 13, 2013 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 with Father William Kelly officiating.
