

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Palmer. She is survived by her daughter, George Ann Hoffman (Warren) of Stone Mountain, GA and a son, Tom Palmer (Carol) of Barrington, IL, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. "Mickey", as she was called by her friends and "Nanny" and "Grammy" by her family, moved to Jacksonville Beach in 1963. She devoted her life to volunteering. She volunteered with the School Safety Patrol, PTA, Gateway Girl Scout Council, the American Red Cross, the Beaches Hospital and St Paul's Catholic Church. Mickey was honored many times by all of these organizations.
Services will be held at St Paul's Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach on Monday, July 2nd at 11:00 am with Father William Kelly officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the time of the service at the church.
For those who prefer, memorials may be made to the Women's Auxiliary of Baptist Beaches Hospital or to the Women's Auxiliary of St Paul's Catholic Church. Burial will be private at Riverside Memorial Park cemetery.
