Mike Pigg, 52, passed away September 26, 2012. Raised in Houston, TX, he was a resident of Jacksonville for the last 13 years having moved from Amman, Jordan. During his 20-year navy career, he served as a Diplomat who travelled extensively overseas. He was a sports enthusiast and loved golf, fishing, baseball and the Dallas Cowboys. He attended Westminster Presbyterian Church and St. Ephrem Syriac Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his parents Norman and Margaret, he is survived by his devoted wife, Badia, whom he met at the US Embassy in Amman, Jordan; sister-in-law, Georgeat Baqaeen Younadam (Sargoon); nephew, Dr. Sandro Younadam (Lindsy) and their children, Gemma and Rocco; nephew, John Younadam; and a large extended family in Amman, Jordan. The funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1st at St. Ephrem Syriac Catholic Church, 4650 Kernan Blvd. S., Jax, FL. Interment will follow with full military honors at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
