Neil Thomas Smith “Tom” passed away March 30, 2018 at the age of 76. He was born to Wilbur and Marie Smith and raised in Port Huron, Michigan. Neil was one of four boys and came to Florida 30 years ago after the passing of his first wife. Tom worked as a hospital engineer and loved golf and boating. He and his wife Mary have been married for 25 years and he was the father of four children Greg,Gary,Tommy,Lisa and their spouses together with Mary’s two children, James and Kerry. They also have seven grandchildren. He spent a lot of time in Mayo Clinic over the years with several chronic illnesses but the family will always remember the Mayo Clinic doctors. With their knowledge and care, they gave Tom an extra 15 years with a heart transplant. By the grace of God we shared 15 more years with his love. A Mass was held In his Honor in the Chapel at the Mayo Clinic. A Celebration of his life will be held in the near future.
