Pat L. Lucas

Born on May 9, 1947, in Wilson, North Carolina, Pat was the beloved daughter of Elijah Logan Lovelace and Eleanor Lovelace. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Brock Lucas, and a loving mother to her three daughters: Liz (who passed in 2002), Daisy, and Lacey (who passed in 2021). Pat’s strength, warmth, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew her.

She is also survived by her sister, Logan Sutton (Harry), and their children: Will, Greta, Cameron, and Brad. Pat cherished her family deeply and found joy in the simple pleasures of life—cooking meals from scratch, exploring antique shops, tending to her garden, and cruising around town with a sense of fun and freedom. A passionate Duke basketball fan, she loved cheering on her team with Brock by her side. Pat had a special bond with her grand-dog, Tiger, who adored her in return.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.

Pat’s legacy of love, resilience, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
