

Robert William “Bob” Soulby, 64, passed away February 21, 2012 surrounded by his family in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born April 4, 1947 in Queens, New York. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Florida. Bob joined The Haskell Company in 1973 as an assistant project manager and retired in 2005 as senior vice president.
He held many positions of leadership with various organizations including The Design Build Institute of America, served as a Trustee of both the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami Chambers of Commerce, and the President’s Council of Miami. A longtime member of Hidden Hills Country Club, he was an avid golfer. Bob was a Bull Gator supporter of the Gator Boosters.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Dianne Soulby; sons, Chris Soulby and Brian Soulby (Jennifer); step-daughters, Christie Phillips and Lori Costanza (Tom); brother, Ralph Soulby; and grandchildren, Aidan & Cameron, Jacob, Lucas & Brooke and Vada & Eden.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held 10:00 am Saturday, Feb 25th at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL with Chaplain Tim McDaniel presiding.
