Ronald Edward Flanders, 84, died peacefully Wednesday, January 29, 2025. He was born and raised in Florida, the son of Clyde Melvin and Mary Pauline (Attaway) Flanders. In his early years, Mr. Flanders was a mechanic with the United States Army. After leaving the Army he moved back to his hometown of Panama City, Florida and eventually to Jacksonville, Florida where he established a successful 4x4 Repair Shop. Known to his friends as “TC”, he loved fast cars and lifted trucks, listening to music, and spending time at the beach. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He leaves daughter, Tammy Miller (Mike); and sister Shirley Faye Ball; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Committal service with military honors will be held Friday, February 21, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, with Pastor Nathan Loewen officiating.
