Rose Stickles Marino, age 83, of St. Augustine, Florida passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2024. Born on October 23, 1940, in Texas, Maryland. She is the daughter of the late Grafton Stickles and Beulah (Perry) Stickles.
Rose grew up in the Baltimore area. One of 10 children, she always had a great love of family. As a teen she helped to run a snowball stand with her sisters. She always had such wonderful stories to share about her youth and all the mischief she and her sisters would get into.
She moved to Tampa, Florida in the 1970s. After her kids were in high school, Rose went back to school and got her GED –an accomplishment she was very proud of. Rose loved to crochet and knit and made wonderful blankets for her grandkids.
Rose was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Rose will be most remembered for the love she showed her family and friends, and for her smile that lit up a room. Rose had a special connection with her grandchildren. Her love for them was boundless.
